Our strong youth program has grown so much since 2006 when we had our first feeder team in the spring and our first fall ball team in the fall because of the passion our coaches have for the sport and our girls.
In 2007, we had one Feeder A team and three fall ball teams. Our Feeder A team came in 1st in their region and 1st in the Georgia Middle School Lacrosse A League Championships. Our U15 fall ball teams came in 1st and 2nd in the championships. The Blue Devil's only loss was to our Cavaliers team!
In 2008 we had 1 Feeder A team, 1 Feeder B team, and 5 fall ball teams. Our undefeated White Feeder A team came in first in their region and won the Georgia Middle School A League Championships. Our Feeder Red team came in 1st in their region and 2nd at the Georgia Middle School B League Championships. Our U15 fall ball teams, the Irish and the Wildcats, came in 1st and 2nd in the championships. The Wildcats only loss of the season was to our Irish team! Our U13 team, the Buckeyes, came in 1st in their championships and our U9 team, the Heels were undefeated!
In 2009, we had 2 Feeder A teams and 7 fall ball teams! Our White Feeder A Team came in first in their A region and 2nd in the Georgia Middle School A League Championships. Our Red Feeder A Team came in 1st in their A region and 3rd in the Georgia Middle School A League Championships. Our U15 teams, BLUE 15 and WHITE 15 came in 1st and 2nd in their championships. The only loss WHITE 15 had of the season, was to our BLUE 15 team. Our U13 teams, BLUE 13 and WHITE 13, came in 1st and 2nd in their championships.
Also, in 2009, we were super excited to be able to add a Summer Teams program on top of our usual summer camps! Our first year with summer teams proved to be a great experience for the girls as well as us parents and the coaches! Our teams are entered in older divisions to give them hard competition. Playing against better teams will only improve our skills! Our U13 team was able to participate in a local tourney, the Southeastern Championships, which we were entered into the U15 division. We took 3rd place! We took 3 teams to the Southern Alliance Tournament in Peachtree City, 2 middle school teams and one high school team. Our high school team was mainly a young team (mostly up-rising freshman and sophomores) who played against 2010 (senior) teams. They placed 3rd in their division! Our middle school team, uprising grades 6th-8th placed first in their division. They played against 2013 (freshmen) teams and did great. Congratulations to them for taking 3rd overall in the championships! Our younger middle school team (uprising 5th-7th) played hard and did so well against the older teams! It was a great experience for all! The most fun tourney we did this summer had to be the HEATWAVE down in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida! We took 4 teams with us, 2 of which came in 2nd place in their championship games! One of our high school teams (up-rising 7th-9th graders) took first in their division but then were stopped in the championships by a 2010 team. Congratulations to Alex Bunn, Annie Ruland, Lydia Cassada, and Melissa Teel for taking 2nd in the high school 3v3 championships! Our teams were also able to participate in local playdays against other summer programs, like Hot Atlanta, Lassiter and the ATL.
In 2010, we are so thrilled to announce that we now have 4 feeder teams! GO EAGLES!
