To be a member of Eagle Stix Lacrosse you must be a member or become a member of US Lacrosse. The US Lacrosse membership provides insurance coverage as well as a monthly subscription to US Lacrosse Magazine. SPRING SEASON INFORMATION:
Below is the information regarding tryouts for the Milton Girls Lacrosse Feeder team. The feeder team is only for 7th and 8th grade players.
We recommend that girls in grades 1-6 register to play at Alpharetta Parks and Recreation spring league. They will be offering U9-U15 teams. Resident registration begins Nov. 17th.

The Milton Girls Lacrosse coaches will be conducting try-outs for 7th and 8th grade girls on November 3rd and 4th from 4:30 – 6:00 at the Old Milton High School’s athletic fields. Girls in grades 7th – 8th who live in the Milton High School district are eligible to tryout. In order for each girl to be properly evaluated, it is important she attend both sessions. There will be 2 teams; each team will have approximately 16-18 girls with at least one coach. Girls who attend the tryouts must have a mouth guard, goggles, and stick in order to participate in all activities. Assessment is based on the following criteria: fundamental stick skills, consistent understanding of both the field and the game, and athleticism.
The middle school feeder lacrosse season takes place in the spring of 2010. Your daughter is expected to attend all practice sessions and games during the spring season. Practices will be approximately 2 afternoons per week and games will occur on weekdays and Saturday’s. Girls who are selected to a team will pay a participation fee of approximately $300, to cover the team’s expenses: uniforms, equipment, referees, coaching, field rentals, tournament fees, and other miscellaneous items that may be incurred. There will be a parent meeting for girls who make the team on November 18th at 7:00 at Milton High School’s cafeteria. More information on fees, practices and games will be provided at the meeting November 18th.
If your daughter is planning on participating in other activities in the spring that might conflict with lacrosse games and practices, please consider her playing in the Alpharetta or Roswell Recreation league to allow the opportunity for another girl who could have been selected.
For your daughter to be considered for tryouts, please mail the completed Parental Permission Waiver/Release Form, along with a check for $25 (made payable to Milton Lacrosse) to: Bridget Winsness 1735 Windsor Cove Milton, GA 30004
In order for your daughter to be evaluated, receipt of the completed form and $25 is required prior to November 3rd.

2009 Summer Team Membership
The Eagle Stix Lacrosse membership is for Milton girls, grades 5th - 8th (rising 6th-9th graders). Grades 5-7 will play in the middle school division; grade 8 will play in the HS division with high school players.
Membership registration is now open for this season. The summer membership runs from May of 2009-July of 2009.
