CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR HEATWAVE TOURNAMENT TEAMS. All 5 teams had an overall record of 16-9. We were runner-up in the top high school division and 3rd place in the top middle school division. Jill Haight (with Alex Bunn as her goalie) was the middle school runner-up in the Braveheart and Annie Ruland (with Lauren Ragsdale as her goalie) was the high school Braveheart champion!

The following is the schedule for our remaining high school practices for the summer with Coach Ruland. Practices will take place on the lacrosse practice field, located by the softball field.
August 3, 5, 9, 11, 13. All practices will be from 7:00-8:30 except for the 13th, which will be from 4:30-6:00.
TUESDAY June 29th
Middle School practice for 7th/8th graders - 5:30-7:00
High School scrimmage vs. St. Pius @ 7:30. All players on RED. WHITE. and BLUE teams should arrive at 7:00 for warm ups.
Thursday July 1st - WE WILL NOT BE PRACTICING ON THURSDAY
NEXT PRACTICE will be Tuesday, July 13th
Middle School: Girls in grades 7/8 and all other girls playing in the HEATWAVE 5:30-7:00
High School - 7:00-9:00
We do not have practice scheduled this Tuesday. Thursday's practice will be as follows:
Middle School - 7:00-8:30 at Milton Stadium. This practice is for 7th and 8th graders only. All remaining middle school practices are for 7th and 8th graders.
High School - 7:00-9:00 at Milton Stadium.
Players who participated in the SAT will play with their same teams on Thursday unless instructed otherwise by teh coaches. Girls who did not play in the SAT will play with the same team they played with in teh scrimmage last week. If you are unsure what game time you should play for, please email Coach Godby. Players should arrive :30 minutes before their game starts.

The Milton Girls Lacrosse program will be conducting a summer program for Milton girls in the graduating classes of 2016, 2015, and 2014, (rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders). The summer program is LOADED with practices, games, scrimmages, skills camp, and travel tournaments. The Milton coaching staff, along with collegiate and high school players, will be provide coaching and instruction for the girls participating. Information for the summer program is listed below. Additional information for travel tournament registration will follow.
Summer Program includes:
Coaching from the Milton coaching staff and collegiate and High School players.
Session 1 of the Milton Camp of Champions.
26 hours of practice/camp/scrimmages.
Opportunity to play with the best lacrosse program in GA.
Practice and Scrimmage Times
Grad classes of 2016 and 2015 (rising grades 7 and 8) will practice from 5:00 – 6:30.
Grad class of 2014 (rising 9th graders) will practice with the HS from 6:30 – 8:00. Grad classes of 2016 and 2015 (rising grades 7 and 8) scrimmages begin at 5:30pm.
Grad class of 2014 (rising 9th graders) scrimmages begin at 6:30pm or 7:30pm.
**All practices, camps, and tournaments are not mandatory to attend.
Travel Tournaments
We will be participating in 3 travel tournaments this summer. Travel tournaments are optional and require an additional tournament registration fee. You are also responsible for travel arrangements and costs. In order to participate in travel tournaments, registrations must be completed by the registration deadline.
Tournament 1: SAT @ Peachtree City GA, June 5 – 6. DEADLINE April 21st
Tournament 2: Catawba Classic @ Rock Hill SC, June 19 – 20. DEADLINE May 5th
Tournament 3: Heatwave @Ponte Vedra Beach FL July 17–18. DEADLINE May 19th
Tournament Team Selections
There will be approximately 16 – 18 girls per team. The top 16 – 18 players will be placed on one team and the remaining players will be placed on any additional teams. Teams will be chosen based on coach’s evaluations from the season and practice sessions. Player registration must be received by the deadline in order to participate.
